Xog Mountain, a rather silly name for a website, isn’t it? Like most things, it depends on your mindset, one would suppose. Life is sometimes considered a mountain that needs to be climbed, or, it could be a as simple as learning a new skill or taking a job. Those latter are a part of life aren’t they? Is life easy? Nope. Simply, nope. Life is not easy, whether one is a thief or an honest person and this includes politics, a ministry or a dentist. Why? Imperfection, simply stated.

One wonders why we end up taking something simple and making it difficult. Changing a leaky faucet seems easy enough. Put a wrench to it and turn the wrench (after shutting off the water) and replace it using plumbers tape and the same wrench. Ten minutes tops, start to finish. Except, the faucet hadn’t been changed in twenty years and the minerals in the water have acted like cement and the old faucet is stuck like hell wouldn’t allow. A ten minute job suddenly takes a few hours or the calling of a plumber. The costs in time and money climb with each repair we do “ourselves.”

That is what life is in all respects and this is what ages a man as that faucet is quite similar to something as simple as marriage. Or, work, or play, or taking a ride to the coast. It all requires planning and expecting the unexpected. Try combat if you want complexity. after participation in combat life should be simpe. It isn’t. It never is. He or she that doesn’t expect “easy” is never disappointed. Then, there are the others. Who? Those who won’t work.
