As I Go

If you don’t mind, I will be bringing in a bit of Scripture here. I will not be preaching though. I will bring Scripture in for balance of thought because more of what our morals dictate is due to Scripture than any other single premise. Indeed, the lack of a moral compass has always dictated the misery of this world. A misery so terrible that we have wars instead of peace throughout most of our history.

You see religion, understood properly, limits anger. Anger should be reserved only for those who trample on religious freedom because religion is the only way forward for society. What we are watching today is almost solely a lack of faith. Faith: a belief that there is more to life than we can yet understand. We think of God only because He is real. We know the “Tooth Fairy” is false but we cannot say the same as to God.

This is because we see His hand in all things on Earth including, Earth itself. The wonder of our world is not an accident that occurred far back in time. The Earth is thoughtfully made and that is the first lesson we need to wrap our heads around. Of course, there is much, much more that comes with Faith. We will touch on the “more” aspect of reality here in the future.
